The Mass book opens June 18

The Mass Book will open June 18
The Mass Book for July 1, 2026– December 31, 2026, will open on June 18, at 9:00am, in the convent (located behind Sacred Heart Academy). Each family will have a four-Mass limit for their intentions. The suggested offering is $10. Parishioners can choose between Masses at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Winchester or Stephens City.

There is also an opportunity to enroll loved ones for the remaining months of monthly Mass intentions through December 2024. Registration is ongoing throughout the year. On the first Sunday each month, the 5:30pm Mass will be offered for the special intentions of the living who are enrolled. On the second Sunday each month, 7:30am Mass will be offered for the beloved dead who are enrolled. Enrollment will be until December 2026. The names of those enrolled will be included in the bulletin once each month. The suggested offering for enrollment is $20.
Parishioners will also be able to enroll loved ones in unannounced Masses that will be celebrated outside of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish by retired priests, priests on retreat, and other churches.

The suggested offering for unannounced Masses is $10, and a Mass card without a date will be given. Unfortunately, Mass intentions cannot be accepted over the phone at this time.
